Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke at a rally, promoting the Ladki Bahin Yojana, a scheme empowering women in the state. He criticized opposition parties for trying to halt the scheme. Shinde claimed that the scheme would ensure monthly financial aid for Bhau Beej, and if his government wins, the aid would be increased. He accused the opposition of extortion and promised to serve the people if voted for.
