💨 Abstract
The historic district of Muzaffarpur in north Bihar turned 150 on January 1, 2023. The district, known for its 'shahi litchis' and lac bangles, was established in 1875 when two districts were created from the erstwhile Tirhut district in the Bengal Presidency. The exact date was discovered in archival records a couple of years ago.
