💨 Abstract

The Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government has extended the lease period for 39 road transport projects from 30 to 60 years, allowing commercial use of available Floor Space Index. This decision was made in a cabinet meeting chaired by Shinde. The MSRTC has also been exempted from paying 50% revenue share to the government for commercial utilization of these plots.
