Left parties in India protested at Jantar Mantar on Oct 7, expressing solidarity with Palestine. CPI(M) leader Prakash Karat accused the Modi government of diluting India's long-standing position on Palestine, following the US path. He described the ongoing conflict in Gaza as a genocide, with more than 42,000 lives lost in a year.
