A leopard, trapped in South Goa, died at Bondla Zoo during treatment. Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane accused Deputy Conservator of Forest (DCF) Navin Kumar of dereliction of duty leading to the death and asked for his suspension. Rane maintained the protection of wildlife is a priority and will address speed limits on roads passing through wildlife sanctuaries to prevent animal-vehicle collisions.
