💨 Abstract

The National Lok Adalat in Thane, Maharashtra, settled a death claim of Rs 4.50 crore to the family of Pankaj Ramesh Shedge, a senior IT employee killed in a road accident. Shedge was earning an annual salary of USD 110,000. The family had initially sought Rs 30 crore from the insurance company.
