💨 Abstract

A low-pressure area is expected to form over the north Bay of Bengal on Friday, potentially causing heavy to very heavy rainfall in West Bengal, especially in sub-Himalayan and south Bengal districts. This weather system may also trigger landslides in the hill districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
