On September 22, a goods train driver in Kanpur found an empty LPG cylinder on the tracks, applying emergency brakes and stopping the train near Prempur station. This was the second such incident in Uttar Pradesh this month. An FIR was lodged against unidentified individuals, suspecting a possible sabotage attempt. The FIR was registered under relevant sections of the BNS and the Railways Act.
