In Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district, a machine fell into a pit while digging a tubewell, causing a stream of water and gas to erupt, creating panic among villagers. Officials inspected the spot and confirmed the gas was normal, not poisonous or flammable. The administration contacted Cairn Energy (Vedanta) for assistance, and efforts are being made to stop the water.
