💨 Abstract

A fire at Dilli Haat in New Delhi on April 30 destroyed 40 shops, including a Madhubani painting seller's stall, causing a loss of approximately Rs 10 crore. Shopkeepers allege negligence by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, claiming that the fire services took an hour to reach the spot, while the blaze destroyed their stalls in just 15 minutes.
