The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated an intensive security checking campaign ahead of the Maha Kumbh, which is scheduled to begin on January 13. The campaign aims to ensure the safety of the estimated 40-45 crore visitors, including foreigners, and prevent any untoward incidents.
