💨 Abstract
Congress' Kolhapur North MLA Jayshree Jadhav, who was not given a ticket by the party for Maharashtra assembly elections, joined the Shiv Sena led by CM Eknath Shinde. Jadhav, who had previously been a Congress member, was made a deputy leader and the head of the women's wing in the Shiv Sena. She stated that she joined the party due to being denied a ticket by the Congress.
