The Maharashtra Cyber department has reported over 10 lakh cyber attacks on Indian systems following the Pahalgam terror attack, with hacking groups from countries like Pakistan being identified as the main perpetrators. The attacks targeted Indian websites and portals, and many of the groups claimed to be Islamist. Maharashtra Cyber has thwarted many of these attacks and issued advisories to strengthen government departments' cyber infrastructure.
