💨 Abstract
During the Maharashtra assembly elections campaigning in Palghar district, authorities seized illegal cash, liquor, drugs, and other materials collectively valued at Rs 22 crore. A total of 2,292,066 voters are eligible to vote in six assembly constituencies, with 53 candidates contesting. The district administration has deployed 2,782 police personnel and other security forces for a secure election process.
