💨 Abstract
In the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, election officials and EVMs were transported in helicopters to base camps for the upcoming assembly elections, due to the district's remote and inaccessible terrain. The Indian Air Force's Mi 17 helicopters were used to deliver election officials to 14 base camps at police stations, and the operation will continue till November 19.
