💨 Abstract

On January 10 in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, a major train accident was narrowly avoided as the gate at the Gohaniya railway crossing remained open during the Tanakpur-Dourai Express's passage. The incident was caught on video and locals and police quickly created a barricade to prevent any mishap. The crossing is one of the busiest in the region with hundreds of vehicles passing through daily.
