💨 Abstract
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced temporary monthly allowances of ₹25,000 and ₹20,000 for Group C and Group D employees, respectively, whose jobs were terminated due to the cash-for-jobs scam in state-run schools. This relief is part of the newly launched West Bengal Livelihood and Social Security Scheme, effective from April 1, 2025.
