💨 Abstract
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has called for increased security measures ahead of the Gangasagar Mela due to the ongoing crisis in Bangladesh. She has deployed police forces, including ministers and senior officers, for surveillance on land, air, and water. Banerjee has also demanded that the Gangasagar Mela be declared a "national fair" and expressed hope that it will receive the same status as the Kumbh Mela.
