💨 Abstract

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee welcomed the release of BSF constable Purnam Kumar Shaw from Pakistan. Shaw, from Hooghly district, was handed over by Pakistan Rangers at the Attari-Wagah border on May 14 after being apprehended on April 23. Banerjee had been in touch with Shaw’s family throughout the ordeal. His return was celebrated at his residence.
