💨 Abstract

In Mumbai, a man was detained by police and election officials on November 7. He was found carrying 1.45 kg of gold worth over Rs 1 crore, which was seized during the interaction. The man, an electrician, could not provide a reason for transporting such a large quantity of gold. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Income Tax were informed about the incident.
