💨 Abstract
A 62-year-old man from South Delhi was defrauded of Rs 8.5 lakh after receiving a call about a job offer for the position of Joint Director in Human Resources for a reputed company. The incident occurred in March during an online interview. The complainant was asked to pay for various requirements such as an offer letter, psychological test, medical test, and other formalities, but the scammers never showed up for the induction as promised.
