💨 Abstract
A man, Md Kamruj Zaman, was sentenced to life imprisonment for establishing a module of the Pakistan-based terror group Hizb-ul-Mujahideen in Assam. The NIA special court in Guwahati convicted him for planning terrorist activities in 2017-18. Zaman recruited several individuals for this purpose. Four of the accused were convicted, while one died during the trial.
