On September 21, a man named Sukhbir was arrested in Hoshiarpur for assaulting a police officer, Assistant Sub-inspector Rakesh Kumar, at the inter-state check post at Chak Sadhu. The incident took place on Friday when a police team stopped a motorcycle with three occupants from Himachal Pradesh, who were violating traffic regulations.
