A man named Ajmer from Jind district was arrested for allegedly issuing a death threat to the Haryana chief minister via a WhatsApp group on October 8, the day of vote counting in the state. The arrest came after an FIR was registered. The report also mentions that Congress candidate and wrestler Vinesh Phogat won the Julana assembly seat with a margin of 6,015 votes.
