In Kannur, Kerala, a 67-year-old man, Pavithran, was believed dead and taken to a hospital mortuary. Moments before transfer, a hospital staff member noticed his fingers moving, saving his life. Pavithran had been in a private hospital in Mangaluru, Karnataka, on ventilator support due to various health issues.
