💨 Abstract
A 48-hour statewide bandh called by COCOMI in Manipur disrupted normal life in Imphal Valley. The shutdown, protesting the removal of the state’s name from a bus, saw closures of businesses, institutions, and transport. Supporters enforced the shutdown, burning tires and tightening security. The Manipur government ordered a probe into the incident, forming a two-member committee to investigate.
