💨 Abstract

In Imphal, COCOMI, a civil society group, suspended its agitation for a week after NDA legislators passed a resolution for "mass operations" against Kuki militants linked to civilian killings. COCOMI also called for the repeal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) in certain areas. Despite curfew orders, protests continued demanding swift action against the killings.
