The Delhi municipal body has removed approximately 1.26 lakh political advertisements from across the city after the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) was enforced in preparation for the upcoming Delhi elections on February 5. The highest number of advertisements were removed from South Delhi, Civil Lines, and Shahadara south zones. The MCC prohibits displaying election posters, hoardings, and banners during the election period.
