💨 Abstract
Migratory birds are leaving Bhitarakanika National Park in Odisha earlier than usual due to an early onset of summer. Over 1.51 lakh birds from 118 species had taken refuge in the park during winter, but are now departing in batches as temperatures rise. The birds usually leave by March or April, but this year, they are leaving earlier due to the unusual rise in temperatures in February.
