💨 Abstract

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju accused the Congress of neglecting Manipur and other northeastern states, leading to the rise of militant groups. He claimed that the Congress's misgovernance led to over 500 to 800 lives being lost in ethnic clashes in the past. Rijiju said that the recent violence in Manipur was a result of conflicts between Meitei and Kuki communities, and not against the Indian government.
