💨 Abstract

On January 1, suspected militants in Manipur's Imphal West district launched an early morning attack from Kangpokpi district hills. They fired several rounds from sophisticated arms and hurled bombs at Kadangband area, causing villagers living in makeshift homes to flee. No injuries were reported, and additional security forces were deployed to control the situation.
