💨 Abstract

Mizoram Governor VK Singh announced that the state government is seriously addressing drug trafficking, drug abuse, and cross-border smuggling. Last year, over 12 lakh kg of smuggled areca nuts were seized, along with a large cache of arms, ammunition, explosives, and illicit drugs. The police and Excise and Narcotics Department arrested 4,568 people in drug-related offenses.
