💨 Abstract

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah to assess the security situation following the pause in hostilities between India and Pakistan. Modi will also lead a Union Cabinet meeting. Meanwhile, India rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's claim that his government mediated a ceasefire between the two countries. Trump reiterated his claim despite India's rebuttal.
