💨 Abstract
The Indian government is planning a nationwide survey to assess drug abuse prevalence, evaluate the impact of anti-substance abuse initiatives, and collect district-wise data on drug users for the first time. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is working with the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC) to conduct the survey, which will be four times larger than the 2018 survey.
