In the last 48 hours, more than 30 animals have been rescued across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region due to heat and Diwali firecrackers distress. The Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) received 60 calls from citizens about distressed animals. The rescued animals include squirrels, monkeys, owls, parakeets, egrets, snakes, and turtles.
