💨 Abstract
On February 3, poor visibility due to dense fog at the Kolkata airport resulted in the delay of at least 22 flights. Low Visibility Procedures (LVP) were implemented, guiding aircraft to their stands, and Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) were used to help land and take off safely. The LVP and ILS ensured safe operations despite the fog. Flight disruptions had also occurred for three consecutive days in January due to fog.
