A laborer, Rajesh Nayak, survived a second firecracker factory explosion in less than a year, this time in Gujarat. He joined work at a warehouse near Deesa town on Monday and it was destroyed in a powerful explosion on Tuesday, killing his 19-year-old brother, an aunt, and her three children, among 21 people. The warehouse was unauthorized to stock or manufacture firecrackers.
