The second phase of the Sea Vigil exercise, a multi-agency drill to assess security preparedness, began off the Goa coast on November 20th. Conceived in 2018 following the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, this exercise aims to identify vulnerabilities in coastal security and defense, and generate awareness about coastal security among the population.
