💨 Abstract

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has transferred drug trafficker Faisal Javed Shaikh from Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail to Chennai's Puzhal Central Prison under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act. Shaikh, with links to an underworld gang, was allegedly managing drug operations from prison and was involved in large-scale trafficking of substances like mephedrone and cocaine.
