💨 Abstract
In Jammu and Kashmir, authorities have directed municipalities to create comprehensive waste management plans, including projections for future waste generation. On average, 450 grams of waste per person per day are generated in big cities, and 300 grams in smaller towns. The Chief Secretary has asked for scientific plans for waste treatment in Jammu Municipal Corporation, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, and other municipalities.
