💨 Abstract

A mysterious illness in a small village in Badhaal, Rajouri district, has taken 16 lives since December, with the latest being Jatti Begum on January 17. The victims belong to three families and authorities have sealed affected houses and shifted their relatives to government accommodation for monitoring. An SIT has been formed to investigate the deaths, as tests for viral, bacterial, and fungal infections have come back negative.
