A high-level inter-ministerial team has been dispatched to Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir to investigate a mysterious illness that has caused 17 deaths in a remote village. The deaths occurred within weeks in three related families, with symptoms including fever, pain, nausea, and loss of consciousness. The exact cause of the illness remains unknown, but it is not believed to be a communicable disease of bacterial or viral origin.
