Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a municipal corporation project in Gorakhpur to purify wastewater entering the Rapti River using phytoremediation, a natural method. The CM stated that this method will clean rivers, save money, and require no electricity or maintenance. He emphasized the importance of clean water, noting that contaminated water had caused deaths due to viral diseases.
