The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Ahmedabad destroyed 4,543.4 kg of illegal drugs worth Rs 870 crore in a two-week nationwide exercise, as part of a campaign to eradicate the drug menace. The drugs, including charas, heroin, methamphetamine, tramadol, and amphetamine, were destroyed by incineration on January 25.
