💨 Abstract

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in India seized 160 kg of khat leaves, worth Rs 8 crore, in Bengaluru. This is the largest seizure in Karnataka since khat was classified as a psychotropic substance in 2018. Khat, a stimulant, is not widely used in India but is transited through the country.
