💨 Abstract

The National Commission for Women (NCW) chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar is visiting West Bengal's Malda and Murshidabad districts from April 18-19 to assess the ground situation and interact with women affected by recent communal violence. The NCW has already formed an inquiry committee to probe the violence that erupted during protests against the Waqf (Amendment) Act.
