The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has successfully conducted its first drone-based cleaning operation on a trial basis at Kamakhya Railway Station in Assam. The demonstration aimed to clean high-rise and hard-to-reach areas within the station, as well as the roof and exterior of train coaches. The exercise showcased the potential of drone technology in improving cleanliness, efficiency, and precision, while reducing manual labor in hazardous areas.
