💨 Abstract

In 2025, the National Green Tribunal addressed several environmental issues. It criticized the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board over high faecal coliform levels in Prayagraj's water during the Mahakumbh. The tribunal directed Delhi to desilt 24 drains and sought responses on various issues, including forest cover decline in Assam and illegal sand mining on the Yamuna.
