💨 Abstract
The National Green Tribunal has issued a notice to the Centre, Delhi government, and South Delhi Municipal Corporation over the latter granting permission for a cultural event in a south Delhi park. The event is allegedly causing irreversible damage to the park's ecosystem and ecology, as well as threatening the trees and grass. The Tribunal is seeking to modify the permission granted and restrict future cultural events in the park's adjoining area.
