The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Gagandeep Singh alias Goldie for illegally sending a man to the US via the 'dunki' route, an infamous illegal pathway for immigrants. The victim, from Punjab, was deported back to India in February after paying around Rs 45 Lakh to Goldie. The victim was beaten, exploited, and money was stolen during the journey, according to NIA investigations.
